Lync tour 2013 - A day of Lync 2013
That’s right, we're hitting the road again this year with our latest free Lync user group tour.
This year we have lots of exciting content we're looking forward to sharing with you, a lot has happened since our 2010 tour. In the last year we have seen some exciting developments in the Lync community and - most importantly - the release of Lync 2013.
This tour will be making its way up the country stopping at five towns along the way. We have specifically chosen places that don't normally get much love from Microsoft with official tech events so it would be great to get as many people along from the local techy community and businesses to show MS that there is interest out there.
The event is totally free of charge to attend and includes lunch and snacks throughout the day. So really, when you think about it, there's no reason not to come...!
If you have any questions about the event or agenda, feel free to make contact via the details on the "about" page.
Who should come?
The day is aimed at IT professionals and IT management / business decision makers but you do not have to be a tech-head to benefit from the day, we have taken care to have something for everyone. Whilst prior knowledge of Lync will help you benefit from the day, it is not essential. Likewise if you have already deployed OCS, Lync 2010 or even 2013 we can help provide you with some advice or details about how to get the most out of your existing investment. And, as with many user groups, we're more than happy to share our (sometimes differing!) opinions on anything Lync related.
Each event lasts a full day starting at 9.30 and aiming to finish at 16.30 to allow people time to travel to and from the event. You can see a full session list below but we're happy to take questions through the day to address your specific scenarios.
